A new feature to convert all text to caps and vice versa on Google Docs Web App

The feature of capitalizing text selections instantly is now available on The Google Docs web app after its official announcement made by the company on Tuesday. It also works the other way too. The larger texts can quickly be converted into lower case letters. All you need to do is simply open a document in Google Docs, select the text you need to change and hover over Format bar given in top toolbar. Select capitalization by moving cursor from there and from the list of side menu, choose the right option for you (changing upper to lower or the lower to upper case letters or capitalize the first letter of chosen word).

Google claimed that the main aim of releasing the new feature is to allow the users to edit documents quickly by saving more time. The feature is being rolled as a stage and it will take a while before getting the benefits of new functionality. Another good news is that Google Docs with the latest feature is available to all G Suite user editions without any restrictions.

The capitalizing feature was requested long before and finally, Google has done it and will likely end upon Google Docs Android version in near future. Let’s wait for an update on this matter.
